Trent Boult and Rohit Sharma took MI to its 4th consecutive win in IPL 2025

Second Inning

Now, MI has to chase the target of 144 runs to win the match.

They got a good start from Rohit Sharma. He scored 70 runs in 46 balls. He smashed 3 sixes and 8 boundaries. He was out on the ball by Eshan Malinga. He was the highest run scorer for MI.

The other opener, Ryan Rickelton, scored only 11 runs in 8 balls. Will Jacks scored 22 runs in 19 balls.

Suryakumar Yadav and Tilak Varma were not out at the end. They scored 40 runs in 19 balls and 2 runs in 2 balls, respectively.

Thus, they chased the target in 15.4 overs. They scored 146 runs at the loss of just 3 wickets.

Jaydev Unadkat, Eshan Malinga and Zeeshan Ansari got 1 wicket each. 

Captain Pat Cummins and Harshal Patel remained wicketless.
